Pamukkale

Pamukkale is a natural site in Denizli province in the Aegean region of Turkey. It includes the city's hot springs and the terraces and travertines of carbonate minerals remaining from the flowing waters.

Located in the Aegean region of Turkey, in the valley of the Menderes River, which has a mild climate. It is one of the favourite places for both local and foreign tourists. Pamukkale can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the centre of Denizli, 20 km away. 5-10 km away is the ancient city of Laodicea. 5 km further on is the village of Karahayit, an international thermal centre. Pamukkale is on the World Heritage list designated by UNESCO. Travertines are good for heart diseases, rheumatism, digestive, respiratory, circulatory and skin disorders as well as visual richness.
